OLD TIME RADIO

THE REEFER MADNESS ERA

FREE OTR DOWNLOAD LINKS

Due to Internet bandwidth problems (caused mostly by our financial situation), at least for the present, we are not able to provide direct downloading services. However, there are several sites that do:

Jerry Haendiges "Old Time Radio" - (Listening Lounge) Allows free downloading of "Judy and Jane -- The Marijuana Plot."

Florida Cannabis Group - Lot's of Reefer Madness OTR programs that can be downloaded for free.

Glowing Dial - Perry Mason - "Raid On A Den Of Marijuana" Although not really a reefer madness program (marihuana is only mentioned a few times) if you want it can be downloaded for free from this web site.

Radio Lovers Allows free downloading of IT'S A CRIME MR. COLLINS - "The Chrome Yellow Death"

[ Also there are numerous OTR web sites that offer free downloads, which from time to time offer Reefer Madness programs ]

Commercial (Reefer Madness) OTR Sites

As most of these websites are barely covering their expenses, the term "Commercial" may be a little misleading. Most, if not all, are run by people who truly love OTR and want to share the experience with others. To search for specific programs, simply go to any internet search engine and type in "Old Time Radio" and the name of the program you are looking for."

OTR Cat - Offers a CD-Rom with numerous Reefer Madness Old Time Radio programs.

In addition, the museum itself offers its own CD-Rom with most mentioned OTR's for museum society members. [Hint if you want to join, it's a cool museum to be a part of]

Q: What is the goal of the museum?
A:
Our goal is to fully document the origin of the anti-Medical Marihuana laws (a.k.a. the Reefer Madness era) as well as the pre-1937 (meaning legal) uses of Cannabis.

Q: How can I help?
A:
First, you can join the museum society; in addition we are always looking for volunteers to help us obtain copies of OTR's as well as newspaper and magazine articles from libraries local to you.
